Privacy
Amia is the product at amia.to. This page is for people who sign in with Google or Apple, or who create an @amia.to mailbox.
What we collect when you sign in
Google Sign-In gives us your Google account email, name, and profile picture. Apple Sign-In gives us the identifier Apple issues for this app, and your email if you choose to share it. We use that to create and recognize your Amia account. We do not ask Google for access to your Drive, Gmail, or other Google products.
What we store
We keep the identity needed to sign you in and to issue your account and mailbox on our control plane. We do not sell personal information. We do not use sign-in data to train models. Agent keys stay on machines you pick.
When an AI answers you
To answer a request, Amia sends your prompts, and the files, images, audio and other context included with that request, to the AI provider identified for that request. That provider may be Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, xAI, Meta, Mistral AI, DeepSeek, or another you choose, and it handles what it receives under its own privacy policy. Amia asks on each of your devices before you first send to each provider, and a send you answer Not now to is not sent. You can stop sending to a provider in Settings, under Providers. A model that runs on your own computer, such as one in Ollama, is not asked about: what you send it stays on that computer.
